Our first taste of the VA Beaches!!!!!
How our family loves the beach!!! My children are so excited to live only 15 minutes from the house. And even more excited about how close we are to the airport, as you can see from the pictures:
The Big Move
Well, the day after Christmas was a very busy day for my family and I. With the help of my family, especially the best big sister in the world - Beckie, and a pretty awesome brother-in-law - Matt. They worked together to get as much stuff in my van as possible. And boy did they ever. I don't think there was any place in my vehicle that didn't have something.
After packing all morning, we headed to Beaver, to see the grandparents. We slept at a hotel that night, and then got up and were on the road by 9. The first night on the road, we made it all the way to Denver, CO. Once again, because of the thoughtfulness of my older sister, she had activities and snacks for the children every day/and state. We then went Kansas, and stayed at Topeka, KS.
We traveled for a total of 5 days. For the length of time that the children were in the car, they did a fabulous job of being good. I couldn't wait to get to Eric. Then finally on New Years Eve, we drove into Norfolk. The excitement for this part of the trip was going threw a tunnel in the Chesapeake River. Shae said she wants to go threw it again.
The following are some of the pictures that Shae took of our travels.

Christmas time
A lot has happened in December. Jae had his school program, and did a fabulous job. I will have to find the pictures, and add them late. Next we went to our Ward Christmas party. The children were able to sit on Santa's lap.
